Has anyone ever heard of using amoxicillian to treat acne?

My daughter was given amoxicillian to treat cystic acne. I have heard of tetracycline and erythramicine being used but not amox. I am concerned that this is a waste of money.

if you have a concern, ask the dermatologist.
not sure how much difference there is between the 3 though. I started with tetracycline and moved on to the hard stuff….
