    I went on …
I went on roaccutane and had a 100% improvement, haven’t had spots in over half a year and had very little side affects other then dry lips and mood swings on occasion. Completely worth it and an amazing drug

    I don’t know what …
I don’t know what qualifies you to say that there are other options for everyone…. Some people try everything and waste years on antibiotics, creams until they go on accutane, which unfortunately is the only cure for some.

    The fact that you …
The fact that you need blood tests every so often in case your liver FAILS says to me that even though you have acne, liver failure isnt worth a clear face lol.

Conversely, I don’t think about suicide or anything, but I would think that there’d be less of a chance of me thinking about suicide while on Roaccutane since my face would be clear LOL!

    Really like your …
Really like your videos, didn’t watch the last min or so. Did you have a bad reaction to Roaccutane? Did the people who asked you to do the review expect a positive one, maybe you should write one saying you don’t like it, you’re entitled to your opinion!

I’m due to go onto Roaccutane in the next few weeks but my mum and I are terrified of these side effects…..!!

    Ive been off …
Ive been off accutane for about 3 going to 4 months soon, and its honestly the best thing I’ve ever done for my skin and that is the truth! Im 14 and have had acne since I was 11, and it was pretty bad for a while. The oil in my skin has returned so my skin does not look dull and dry, now the only concern I have with my skin is getting rid of oil because it is a bit too much at times. I am on Vitamin A gel at night, btw. Any one got any suggestions? Thanks!

There is no evidence that diet causes acne….:S I am currently on dianette and am 16 years old. In 2 months I am moving onto roaccutane:) Can’t wait! My acne is probably genetic as my mum sufferered from it and she was totally cured with roaccutane:)

    Listen, this is bs, …
Listen, this is bs, and anyone who is suffering from accutane, especially as a teen and you have cystic accutane, TAKE ACCUTANE, because otherwise you’ll have tons of scarring. My mother stopped me from taking it in high school and so I had tons of scarring(I had tried everything else). Then I took it in college and all my acne cleared. I wish I had taken it sooner. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET RID OF THE SCARRING.

    You hit the nail …
You hit the nail right on the head.. I went on accutane for about 4 months, I saw little to no results at all, so I took myself off it… my acne was still bad, but I never got rid of the dry skin. I use clinique acne solutions and it really does clear my acne but sometimes the dry skin is horrendous, especially in the wintertime, it gets all red and scaly… Thanks accutane for ruining my skin for life. :(

    I think this is a …
I think this is a very pessemistic look at accutane.

Accutane doesnt dry out the skin – the skin regulates itself once you stop accutane, the skin doesnt remain very dry.

    Aha!

Fantastic! I did videos about my experience on this drug (I think I’m the most viewed for it, I’ll have to check :S ) and I totally understand your statement about people getting defensive!

    It’s insane!

    My sister had …
My sister had severe acne, and I mean SEVERE, so she started to use Roaccutane for almost a year. Now she has a gorgeous looking skin and does not break out. However, while she was taking it, we all noticed that she started to develope this weird mood swings. Me, on the other hand, left the treatment half way because of immigration, so I still “suffer” from acne! =[

I used Accutane. I don’t get why so many people don’t want to try it. I tried everything and it was the only thing that worked.

I think it’s such a dangerous drug and should only be used in extreme situations. Because it’s also not good to have severe boils/infection all over ones face/neck/etc.

    this isnt correct. …
this isnt correct. i have known many ppl who have gone through extremely stressful and upsetting periods of thier life (some whilst eating unhealthly!) and have clear skin.
    -
prehaps, u mean if a person has a predisposition to have acne (genetics etc) or already suffers from acne, then stress and eating unhealthly will aggravate it.

also, most dermotologists agree that an unhealthy diet is not a prominent, or direct cause of acne.

I hate Accutane and too many people take it. Accutane is supposed to be subscribed for severe acne if and only when all other options have failed.
